Greetings to everyone! The guys and I decided to do something like performances on the street, and I want to choose an amplifier for my keys, I use a Yamaha MODX7. https://theguruchoice.com/amplifiers/best-keyboard-amplifiers/ here I found a couple of interesting models Behringer KXD15 and Roland KC-220 It is captivating that you can connect several devices, but this is not a prerequisite, who uses which amplifiers? I would like to hear feedback from knowledgeable people.

What's your budget and do you care for stereo or mono is enough? Bose S1 is very capable busking device, especially when paired in stereo, but it's not cheap.

I've just checked and Roland KC220 is similar price to Bose S1 Pro. I would choose the latter anytime.

Some other all-in-one speakers to consider for street performance. All have built-in mixers, can be battery powered and connected in pairs.

- JBL EON One Compact
- Roland BA-330
- Bose S1 Pro

They will all sound pretty good with guitars, vocals and pre-recorded music (6” woofers) - but for the bass heavy piano, synths and organ sounds the 8” woofer on the JBL Eon One Compact makes a big difference. Even better, an amp with 10”, 12” or 15” woofer if you have plug-in power.

+1 for the JBL eon one compact. I have one and love it. The extra bass and volume from an 8" woofer is important, esp for playing outdoors. The JBl is an amazing speaker with BT audio streaming, 4 channel mixer with 6 band eq on each channel, BT mixing!, reverb/chorus/delay for fx.

Is the amp just for the keys, or will it be used for vocals as well? Since you're using a MODX7, I assume battery power would not be a factor?

I've used Bose S1 Pro a few times outdoor so I can recommend, much better than Roland KC amps, but +2" woofer on JBL seems like a huge benefit. I would probably take it over Bose if I was about to buy it today.
