Hi
I am new to this forum. I have a Steinway CD (#169) I believe it is from 1928. I have argued it is one of the best pianos on the planet. (I have good reasons)

Basically I joined this forum to see if I could find out more about this piano and join the general discussion of what makes a great piano. I have owned it since 1972 ( It was the piano sent out to the Royal Theatre in Victoria BC, Canada in 1928. ( I believe!)

It is a true Horowitz piano. We have used it as the main concert piano for Music by the Sea since 2006. It is has had constant attention from some of the very best Steinway technicians.

I apologise if I have picked the wrong forum...just exploring here
