Greetings,
Considering purchasing a new Yamaha piano. We’re looking at GC1 and also the DGB1K Enspire (which would be loads of fun to play with our youngest family members.). Thoughts, advice, opinions, and ideas on lowest prices we can expect to pay are all appreciated. Many thanks!

Sorry didn't have experience in the model you mentioned. Looks like they are baby grand. Good luck with your search!

Yamaha grands come in several levels of sophistication and size. The Classic Collection consists of the 5′ model GB1K, the 5′ 3″ model GC1M, and the 5′ 8″ model GC2. The GB1K has simplified case construction and cabinetry, no duplex scale, and the middle pedal operates a bass-sustain mechanism. It does have a soft-close fallboard. It is currently the only Yamaha grand sold in the U.S. that is made in Indonesia. The GC1M and GC2 have regular case construction, duplex scale, soft-close fallboard, and sostenuto pedal.

So IMO, you should go with the GC1.

According to piano buyer SMP for a new GC1 is $23,858 for the USA market.

You might expect to get a discount of 15% to 30% from that SMP depending on your location and the dealer.
