I'm desperately trying to find information for my friend. I live in Biloxi, MS and my friend, Eddie, lives in Gulfport, MS. His home was destroyed by flood waters from Katrina. He had an upright Doll and Sons serial #SN09263. He's over 70years old. He doesn't remember the value of it; he doesn't even remember the year he bought it. He has to give the information to his insurance company. If someone can even give me a rough estimate, that would be great! Thank you.

The serial nember is apparently off by a digit, so getting an accurate date of manufactur is impossible. However, Doll and Sons went out of business in 1931. At 70+ years old, the piano wasn't likely worth more than a couple of hundred bucks.
