Love the piano rooms, JJHLH and rwsavory!

I want to second art.com. There are a lot of great options there. And it doesn't have to be people, just go to their site and type in "piano" and there are all kinds of different genres/types of artwork.

Alternatively, if you have some thing you like, you can get it framed at a place like Michaels. They run sales periodically, which makes a huge difference!

Wait, I haven't put my photos in here I don't think.... Hang on.... smile

Here are some photos of my piano room. smile

My Yamaha C2 (plus some artwork):

The main art-wall:

My piano print, I got this print when I still had an upright, it had been waiting for its current piano-companion!

the trio:

Piece #5

There are three other prints hanging in the piano room, but I don't have photos of them.

I got the grand in August 2019, but it took almost a year to get the artwork framed and get the room the way I wanted it.

BTW I should add, some of this artwork is original, but none of it is very expensive, -- I mean, really not expensive! One of the framed prints is actually a page I ripped out of a calendar!! So for that one, the frame is the most expensive thing about it! whome

But I love having all the art on the wall etc. This is definitely my favorite room in the house!! 3hearts

ShiroKuro, I am in love with absolutely everything about your piano room. I can see why it's your favorite room in the house. Excellent work putting the room together. thumb

Come on ShiroKuro that is staged.

No real musicians music room is that clean and neat, they are too busy living music.

LOL. Yes, it is quite something. It came with an old baby grand that we bought from a family friend about 20 years ago, since replaced with the Kawai. My daughter and I can play together ... with room to spare!

Thanks!

I purchased the prints on art.com, and chose the wood mount. You can also choose framed if you prefer. Here is a link to the portrait of Scriabin, and the other 2 pieces were from the same site.

Thank you very much, JJHLH!

ShiroKuro: Love your set up and your art as well!

grin My mess is back in the corner on my music shelf. Nicely contained when I’m not playing!

I have some Bechstein related prints above the Bechstein upright in my office and some Bluthner related pictures above the Bluthner in the ball room. In the music room I have some general piano based and other music related pictures.

Looks great, ShiroKuro! My girlfriend is doing her own art to hang on the walls for our new place. She'll be working on a piano painting next.

Lies! That is clearly your music/exercise/science room. Either that or music is even more complicated than I even imagined. Maybe the reason I'm so bad at the piano is that I never consult the periodic table wink

Great space piRround thumb

I love that you have a keyboard at work!

I'm lucky that my work is my music gift shop and my websites (Piano World, PianoSupplies.com, Maple Street Music Shop).

That's quite the fireplace in the other picture!
