Hi

I am about to buy a FP-90 X, but as a 197cm/6'6" guy I am unsure if I should go with the furniture-like stand (KSC-90). Specifically, do my legs fit below it?

If you own an FP 90 with the KSC 90, could you help me? It would be awesome if you could measure the height from the floor to the underside of the keyboard.

Unfortunately this information does not seem to be available on Roland site or anywhere else on the web. Thomann and other stores' customer service could not help me either so far.

Of course I can get a regular keyboard stand, but I would prefer the furniture-like look.

Thanks for your help!
Markus

I measured mine, it is 64 cm (25.5in).
It is exactly the same for my acoustic upright btw - my Yamaha U1 measures the same 64cm.

Because you are a tall guy, you probably won't sit too close to it anyway, which should give more room for your legs.

Try upright pianos, if you do not have FP-90 available close to you, to see if you are comfortable.
Also I believe this height is some kind of standard (HP-507 was may be 0.5 cm different), you can try other portable digitals at this height, too.

Thank you so much. My knees will hit the keyboard then. I think I will go to a regular stand now and try out the furniture stand in a store once they are open again.

Again much appreciate your response!

i built my own adjustable keyboard stand from an old height adjustable desk.
I got it for free at "ebay kleinanzeigen". It's kind of kijiiji or craigslist over here in Germany.
At least here in Germany you can find all kinds of furniture for free. The previous owners are happy to not having to bring their bulky waste to the disposal so one always can find something useful.
Depending to your manual skills you could do something alike?
Here is the Google translate link where you can find it.
Maybe it can inspire you
