Trying to play in triplets: C>E>A <G>E>C> D
So my fingers are: 1 2 4, 3 2 1, ?

I want to keep the pattern, but there is no finger for the note!

Eb

Hi

Which note are you saying there is no finger for; D or Eb? What pattern do you mean, the fingering, the note order or a combination of both?

You're playing an Am triad (1st inversion) going up and a C major triad coming down. What are you then trying to do starting with D or Eb?

I think you need to explain in a bit more detail, particularly in relation to what pattern you are trying to achieve. But maybe I'm having a bad day and somebody else will give you an answer.

Cheers

Do you have problems playing with 5-4?

If not, I suggest using 5 for A.

Assuming the notes are C-E-A-G-E-C-D, use 1-2-5-4-3-1-2 or 1-2-5-4-2-1-2.

If you really can't manage 5-4, your best bet is 1-2-4-3-2-1-2.

BTW, I'm a classical pianist, so if I'm totally misunderstanding what you're asking, forget I ever wrote here.....

Indeed the OP sounds like enigma.

For what it's worth I vote for 1-2-5-4-2-1-2.

No unnecessary finger stretching and wrist twisting.

(I'm a non-classical, non-trained non-pianist with decades of recreational noodling-around-experience. 😉)
