I finally have a few pics of the new Cunningham that just got delivered today! These were taken with my iPad, so they're not great, and I'll have a few more up soon but I wanted to post these asap. Many thanks going out to Rich Galassini for this very fine and gorgeous instrument! The saga started here for anyone interested: http://forum.pianoworld.com/ubbthre...ave-an-announcement-lol.html#Post3069733

A short and silly public Facebook video is here, mainly boasting about the bench, with some Buffalo Bills football chatter with the guys who delivered my new child, LOL: https://www.facebook.com/100012693402203/videos/1132528573846912/

Some pics, more to be added:

Great pictures, Lisa! I also watched your video on FB. I wanted to see more!

The piano looks fantastic, and the traditional spade legs look heavy duty, and meatier than most, in proportion to the piano; which is a good thing, meaning they are good and strong.

Outstanding! Beautiful home too!

Here are your pics embedded in this post...

Congratulations again! smile

Posting another live FB video, which shows the slow close lid, you'll also hear the bass sustain and treble, but I have no idea how good or bad this will sound recorded from my iPod touch, LOL.

Beautiful piano, sounds great even through your iPad. It's so awesome things worked out well in your piano search. I hope you have many happy years of playing, and post lots of recordings!

Congratulations! It's a lovely piano. I love the finish - gorgeous color. I've never heard anything negative about Cunningham pianos. Looks like you've found a real winner.

Hi, Lisa, the additional pictures were great, inside and out, and underneath! Your FB video demonstrating the slow-close lid was good too!

And, you are right, great sustain in the low bass, and nice sounding upper treble! I was hoping you would sit and play some piano music! Maybe later, when you are not as excited about your new piano!

On the other hand, I expect you will be excited for quite a while! smile

Congratulations again, and thanks for sharing your piano adventure with us!!

That’s a sweet looking piano. I’m not very familiar with that model would love to hear how it sounds sometime. Congratulations on your new instrument.

Wow, what a beautiful piano in a beautiful home!

Too bad, Rich does not have a Cunningham store in my country.
I'd love to try playing a Cunningham myself.

Congratulations Lisa. Beautiful piano. I’ve heard great things about Cunningham pianos. What color is your Cunningham? It’s simply stunning! The bench is worth bragging about too!

It’s polished mahogany! Beautiful grain! I’m trying to find a way to clearly record. I don’t want to used my iPad, it’s not representative of the actual sound. I’ll figure something out when I have some free time. I just started teaching again this week so things are hectic at the moment, in addition to having this fine instrument I need to get to know. ❤️

Thanks, everyone! 😊
