Hi. I have a Suzuki SS-90. Can anyone advise why the C and F sharps keep going ‘dead’? No sound, or intermittent. My husband has had to take it apart and clean the keys a few times to stop sticky keys but now this is happening. It’s literally just those two notes (at the moment) but across the octaves. Extremely annoying. A Yamaha Clavinova is on my list to buy as a bucket list item (can’t decide which one though and we’re in lockdown in the U.K.). To tide me over I would really like to sort this issue because it makes most manuscripts unplayable. Thanks!

You can also try the digital piano subforum: http://forum.pianoworld.com/ubbthre...-electronic-pianos-synths-keyboards.html

Yeah, apparently certain Suzuki models suffer from sticking keys.

Individual dead or loud keys would be a problem with the sensors that the key or hammer strikes, but as it happens systematically across octaves, it's some sort of printed circuit board or cable problem, but I definitely don't claim to know that for sure.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I was thinking it’s got to be something ‘electronic’ because it’s the same notes in different octaves. Really annoying. I’ll try that sub forum. Thanks!
