Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a Yamaha NUX1 and it's a cool 111kg compared to my P505 at 22kg.

I'm thinking of having a Sorbothane interface between the NUX1 and the hardwood floor, both for protection of the floor and also to dampen the sound for the downstairs neighbour, since with the real action I can expect even more thumping than with the digital piano.

Has anyone ever done this, used Sorbothane for your pianos, and if so could you share your set up?

Thanks!

Thank you I have read that thread and indeed have used some of that for my current P515.
I'm now wondering if anyone has done this with a real acoustic piano, or in my case, hybrid, which seems to be a completely different and much heavier animal.
