The short answer: No Have you ever seen anything foldable that is decent? Foldable sunglasses, foldable bicycles, foldable (origami) canoe, etc. Every hinge is introduced, adds a weak point to the instrument. If you want to fix the problem you need to enforce the hinges. This means folding is not going to save you any space if you don't incorporate advanced material science and design. Foldable, compact etc... you name it equals to flimsy and poorly designed.

One folded piano with no compromise is the Phoenix Piano by Adele H, but it is very expensive.
The concept is the best digital piano which can be travelled in a suitcase. Best means high quality speakers, 2x120W amplification, 1300 velocity levels... (high quality patented hinges)... then it costs twice my N1X !
