Hi everyone,
I'm sorry if this is addressed somewhere else, but i haven't found any info on this yet, so i will post a new thread here.

This is SPECIFICALLY only for GO Piano 61 paired with Piano Partner 2 app.

To those who own and have extensive experience with the Roland GO Piano 61, have you all used it successfully with Piano Partner 2 app?
I've seen one or two youtube videos where the presenter shows how Piano Partner 2 works with some DPs, and they mention that while the DP may have only 15 tones onboard,
by using Piano Partner 2, we then have access to way more sounds, like the GM2 Midi sounds. Has anyone found this to be true with the GO Piano?

Also, since the GO Piano has 1 built in drum kit, do you all know if by using Piano Partner 2, we can then trigger some drum rhythm accompaniment? This would be so awesome if it could.
I've been debating for the longest time to add the GO Piano to my collection and so doing some research on this matter first.

thank you in advanced!

Not sure, I thought PP2 only simplified selection of enabled voices on pianos that lack buttons & display. I know there are 3rd-parts programs that send back midi notes in other GM2 sounds.

Thanks SEM, i've already checked all specs. Specs only tell half the story though usually. I'm looking for 1st hand experience from anyone in the community who has the Go Piano and have tried it with PP2 app. Like I find it frustrating that it's never really mentioned on Roland's site, but in the youtube video ( I think it was Alicia Baker showcasing PP2 for KRAFT music ), she mentions this specific fact that while that piano she's doing a demo on, only has 15 sounds, the PP2 app will grant access to way more sounds to play.
So while the specs say the GO piano is compatible, it doesn't actually tell consumers that we have access to other GM2 sounds if the DP has limited built-in sounds.

but you're 2nd comment is right, it seems that it might only simplify "enabled voices" that have no buttons. So the key is, if the GO Piano actually has this hidden feature, of enabled voices
but there are no buttons for this, except through the PP2 app...now that would be awesome.

thank you for the reply!

Thank you SEM! that's a good find!! So i wonder if this GM sound module is also built into the GO Piano 61, in which case this hack would work. Or, the PP2 app works the same way? I know the only other option is to actually buy the GO Piano and try it, but guess that's why i'm asking here, to do some pre-research to save me time or decision to actually buy it or not.

thanks again!
