It happens frequently that , while typing the password for the login, the cursor without any reason jumps back to the name/email field.

Then, part, or my entire password, gets appended to the name (I'm typing fast and this happens in a blink of the eye).

It seems related to how quick I type. If I deliberately wait briefly after the cursor gets into the password field, this does not seem to happen.

I'm talking about this page

Anyone had this same problem?
Is this a known problem ?
Can it be fixed? It's quite disturbing to see your password appear in plain text at the name field.

Yes, I had the same problem in my workplace computer, which is a PC. I didn't even realize the PC had stored my entire password appended to my name field in its memory after that, until I logged in again next day, and then had to promptly change both. Nobody at work knows I play the piano, let alone participate in any music forums.......

It doesn't happen to my home laptop, which is a Mac, because I let it store both fields safely, and keeps me logged in whenever I access PW. Of course, no-one else uses my laptop. (I definitely wouldn't want any imposter impersonating me here.......)

I suppose this happens on a laptop computer with a trackpad and you accidentally touch the trackpad while typing. There may be some trackpad setting on that computer to prevent this from happening while typing.

No this is not the trackpad being touched. It is a mac laptop but it's closed and somewhere in the corner of the room. It's attached to external mouse and keyboard
