I just noticed this morning that at least 2 US retailers, Sweetwater and Sam Ash, have this piano available! (ebay listings)
I would be very interested in a review!

harmonic imaging vs the XL
They say the sampled attack is 120% longer, I'm assuming that means ~2x as long. Is that the only difference ?
Also how long is the attack to begin with ?

Glad to hear the es520 is available in the states. So far I've mostly heard about the es920 being sold and reviewed. If you've got the money it's a no-brainer unless the extra weight is unacceptable.
While I've got my eyes set on the es520 (lighter weight, lower price), Kawai has really made the es920 very appealing! At 'only' $400 more, you get some really nice upgrades. However, as I already love the RHC I, going to the slightly more tame (less bounce, overall a slightly more solid feel as per reviews) sounds like a minor but worthwhile upgrade. 4 band front panel eq is great as well, but not compelling. More than anything the addition of the 5 extra sounds including another grand piano would be missed most. But even on the es520 there's a big jump in sounds and I already like and enjoy my es110 piano sample. I doubt that I'd notice much difference in the sound engine, but the upward firing speakers with more power sounds like it'd make a huge difference.
So es520 for me! If i can ever afford it!

How much longer is the RH3 pivot vs the RHC, from the photos it looks only a tiny bit bigger, ~1cm maybe, possibly less than that.
But it has come to my attention that some people dislike the letoff simulation, so RHC is definitely the way to go there. But kawai's implementation is indeed really bouncy.

If I trade my ES-110 for a 520, will you carry it thorough NYC subways and up the stairs for me? 5 or so pounds extra shouldn't be too bad for you...
