Has anyone here legit played one in person ?

They dump on um' online all the time. But The only off-brand I've seen in stores is the Williams and Alesis.

Isn't it interesting that people on this forum discuss everything from the cheapest $350 digital piano to the most expensive $20000 ?

Them Alesis Recital Pro and their insane price value.

Hrrrm. Sounds a bit sterile, but so does P45 which actually cost more. I wonder if this Jeremy would takes these apart so we can see the goods.

AFAIK Donner means thunder in German. They might also say "Donnerwetter!" as a mild curse word for something surprising or unexpected. ("Thunder storm!")

And Donner also appears as a family name. And now a digital piano. I guess "Steinweg" wasn't available. 😉

Nothing wrong with that for a beginner on a budget.
