MP7 spare part shortage?

Feeling that I have made the wrong decision going with a Kawai DP.

Still within the warranty period, my MP7 had a number of its keys fail; some always full velocity and some intermittent dead. I have the piano with the local Kawai New Zealand resellers repair shop for 3 months now - sadly without an ETA or any update for a resolution. The claim is that there are difficulties getting the necessary spare parts.

Reading about other Kawai DPs with the same issue - is this a common theme?
