Hello I'm looking at two pianos roughly similar prices and lengths the Schimmel K219 7'2" and Seiler SE-208 6'10". I enjoy them both quite a bit, and they both play a bit differently but awesomely in their own regards. (Seiler perhaps has a slightly more interesting swirling tone versus the Schimmel which seems classically solid). Any thoughts one way or the other? I'm about exactly 50/50 either way.

Any comments regarding these two pianos would really just be a matter of opinion since they're both of similar excellent quality.
For me, perhaps the Schimmel would have the edge because the keys are full length concert grand keys, but apart from that, it's really a matter of opinion.

Giving that they are both premium pianos and for similar prices, I would likely go with the longer Schimmel. 4" does make a difference.

Just to be a little contrarian, if everything else seems fairly equal to you, I’d pick the Seiler since you say you prefer the tone.

Take your time, don't rush it. Go play them on different days as many times as it takes. A favorite will emerge.
