A very rare 1976 concert film of Monty Alexander at The 1976 Montreux Jazz Festival. Released on vinyl as "Montreux Alexander".
Check out some of the piano solo highlights:
"Night Mist Blues" (at 07:30)
"Feelings"(26:50),
"Sweet Lady" (42:25).

Hi

It appears to me to be the same performance as the released album. I never knew it was filmed, although a lot were in the 1970s. I have a whole set of DVD's from that era, which includes Monty Alexander playing with Milt Jackson and many others.

What a great find. Thanks for posting.

Cheers
