I purchased a GS-30 about 5 months ago and had a tech tune it after 2 months of playing....after it settled in to my abode. He called the piano a ‘creampuff’/‘cupcake’...something like that, as he said it was in excellent shape and had been played very little. GREAT! Well, in tha last several weeks, it’s developed a resonance, vibration, rattle, etc, on the lower notes and it’s driving me crazy! Lower notes being 2 otaves below middle C. Yes, I have a tech coming in two weeks, but.....any ideas? Hints?

My very first guess would be plate bolts/screws need tightening. If that didn't work I would start tightening every screw everywhere on the case that can be tightened. If that didn't work, I'd check to see if there was something on the soundboard (maybe check that first). If that didn't work I'd start looking around in the room for things that might vibrate sympathetically.
If all of the above proved fruitless I'd ask for a cup of coffee to think things through a bit more. The better the coffee the more likely a solution. 😉

If it is a bass string, the winding may have come lose on one side. If that is the case, your tech can fix it quickly and easily. You may even be able to see it.

Yes, a bass string buzz is another thing entirely (if that is actually what he is describing).

“Lower notes” - plural - any chance a foreign object got in there? Paper clip etc?

UPDATE: tech left about two hours ago....what a difference! I explained to him what I was hearing and he said it could a few things....so I left the piano in his hands. In a nutshell, the piano, a Kawai GS-30, is in mint condition and has been sitting ‘awhile and you’re waking it up.’ He tuned and voiced it and the sound and key ‘feel’ is MUCH better!
.....back to the piano!
