That Haydn was really so wonderful. I wish I could play trills, turns ,ornaments with such clarity and graduation of tone. I need to yet listen to the Scriabin .,Something to look forward to .

Thank you tmoran, Ed McMorrow, Learux, Lucubrate, j&j, Lady Bird, pianoloverus, dhull100, Rickster, Rich D. (and others of you) for taking a moment to watch the two clips I've uploaded so far, and providing thoughtful and positive commentary (which is always a worry when posting anything online). Thanks also to Keith Kerman for publicizing the YouTube channel I've just started.
Since concerts are pretty hard to come by these days, I figure it's a good platform to share some newer and older recordings, most of which are excerpted from full-length recitals. I may even challenge myself to record something new, from my living room in the coming months, though I am nursing a shoulder injury that (mostly) doesn't affect my playing. That Haydn sonata was part of a 60 minute recital, wedged in between some raucous (and messier) romantic stuff by Liszt and Mussorgsky. The Scriabin poem was the ending of a much older concert that also had some Schubert and a new piece by American composer, Randy Bauer, along with more Scriabin. I remember being particularly proud of that performance of "Vers la Flamme" at the time (it's a dense piece, and not the most accessible, but pretty exhilarating if you stick with it to the end).
I don't really talk a lot about my "day job" here on the forum (teaching and playing), am basically a ghost on social media platforms, and try to avoid being one of those artists who constantly has to self-promote. If you subscribe to the YT channel, I'll try and upload one video a week during these winter months of the pandemic, while we're mostly trying to stay put. Some will be traditional literature, some not. Some solo and some chamber music. I promise to post nothing political or off-topic...

Wonderful and thanks for posting! The performance of the Haydn is crisp and sparkling, which is nicely augmented by your Schimmel.
Will listen to Scriabin soon!

This is truly delightful, and a wonderful showcase of Haydn's musical world. It's got that "bounce". Very few people get the bounce right.
