I still don't understand how these voucher prices for the piano's are calculated. A voucher is worth €100. If the BF deal price of the synchron bösendorfer is €210, wouldn't that mean it's €110 when you also use a voucher?

Here are the (not so obvious) maths

Synchron Bösendorfer Standard
€285 List Price

-€75 (26% BF discount calculated)
= €210 BF Deal

-€52 (25% max voucher discount implied)
= €158 BF Deal + Voucher Discount implied

So BF deal is 26% discount. With vouchers, discount can be up to 45%.

Each voucher needs to be used in full at one time. So in this transaction, you could spend:

€200 in vouchers (2 vouchers which cost you on average €150 (€200*.75)
€10 cash

**The maths are off somewhere by a couple of Euros but this is how I understand the general system.
**You need to buy the physical key also for €15 on offer. You might also pay for the insurance scheme.

I was hoping for the VSL Blüthner to be on special for BF. Looking at how the vouchers work for the Blüthner I can't see it saving me any money. I think for now I'll just save the money and hope that the Blüthner goes on special during the summer.

That's interesting. The Vienna Imperial you opened with seems to have some out-of-tune notes? At least it sounds so to me. But thanks for the comparison! I think the Synchron is better managed when the piano was recorded.

I like both, but I think I like the synchron the best, it sounds like the recording quality is a bit higher or something. However I need both.

They are pretty clever, these guys.
Both have definitely their own aspects and I bet they did it on purpose. Well, it makes sense!
The out of tune notes are intentional, and actually I like it in certain contexts. I have never in my life played on a big grand which was perfectly in tune. It feels more 'home' when things are a bit out of tune. However, in recording situations it can be too much, hence I choose the very clean Synchron.

Finally a video that let's me hear what the una corda samples on the vienna imperial sound like. Wow, not disappointed! Such a shame the synchron piano's don't include them as well!

Hey, could someone please explain how does the "Lowest Price with Voucher" thing work? It is stated that the lower price with a voucher would be € 297 for Bösendorfer Imperial but what would be the procedure for getting it at that price?

I've never owned a VSL instrument, had no previous experience nor an account there so bear with me please

Pavlo if you look above in the thread it is actually explained. It's just confusing. Better to just know these vouchers are €100 or €500, and if you get 4 you only pay for 3 of them. Then, you can use them to buy products, you can use multiple vouchers to buy a product as well. But you can only use a voucher as a whole, so for example you can't buy a product that costs €95 and use a €100 voucher. (But you could add a vienna key for €15 even if you don't need it so the price would be €110 so you can use a voucher. )

I just wonder where the discounts are?

I woke up early at 6am this morning enthousiastic to get the vienna imperial, but no discounts yet. Ok it was very early, so I went for a long morning run/walk and I got back at 10am all hopeful the discounts would be there but still nothing yet!

They changed the Website. The BF price is now available and
there is a 4 x Voucher Button.

300€ is to much for me.

I spend my money for 16 GB Ram and Garritan upgrade.
