We currently have 17 submissions, so the early burst of activity is over - now we settle in and submissions will come in at a slower, steadier rate until closer to the deadline, when we will have another surge from the procrastinators!
Sam I'm def. a procrastinator this time. Might take me three months to get something together . . .

Reminder - two days left! I finally had some time to record something and make a video. I chose to go all the way back to a piece I played in recital #16 - Mendelssohn's Song Without Words op 19-4.

Trying to submit: the link in the middle of "When you have your mp3 file ready, go to: https://recitals.pianoworld.com/and follow the instructions there." didn't work and when copied and pasted into browser it returned Recital 57.

How very odd. All I can say is that it is working just fine: https://recitals.pianoworld.com/There are currently 36 performers... Sam

Thanks for the quick response Sam. Your link provides the Recital 60 screen, but unlike my copy and paste in my previous post, there is no underlining of the link, so it will only work after copying and pasting into the browser and it gets me to Recital 57 and when clicking on your link in your post, it returns Recital 60, but Submit your recital piece is greyed out. Copying and pasting this into the browser brings up lots of items, but not from Piano World. I use one of those weird Mac contraptions .........

Your browser is probably doing "auto-completion" when you copy the link, and it takes you somewhere else, or to an old page that is cached in your browser. Flush your cache, or type in https://recitals.pianoworld.com (and only that) and then refresh the page when you get there. But I am hardly an expert anymore - been retired 6 years now! All I can say is that it is working, and lots of people have submitted already. Sam

I submitted a piece! My very first time! :-) Also: I'll be playing this very same piece tomorrow at a live recital (in a Church, on a Yamaha concert grand). I'm so nervous! Wish me luck! :-)

Talão, that's fantastic! I might not make it this time. I think I have a draft recording from a few weeks ago that's probably fine to use if I can find it. I've been really absorbed with another piece that won't be ready for awhile. Haven't been able to pull myself away from it

Changed my submission about an hour ago! Of course that meant I got bumped to the end of list but the main thing is I'm (relatively) happy with my performance. Looking forward to hearing the recital!
