Let's stay factual: I did state that this dealer currently has an Omega, mahogany finish. Not last year, but yesterday.
Furthermore, the dealer website mentions that the piano is new.

What this post confirms is that this thread, though undoubtedly well-intentioned, is a fool's errand for the following reasons.
You presume you understand my full reasoning. From what we have heard, and are probably likely to hear, there is very little presence of this firm in the US market, and there seems to be (or have been) one dealership in the US that has actually done anything with the brand.

That made my day! It is true, however, that Chewie is not so great at fixing the hyperdrive on the Millennium Falcon.

6. Members spotting pianos of any brand on a sales floor will not be aware whether these pianos are truly new, old new, used, or well-traveled specimens under the control of a distributor unless they ask. Nor can they be assured that these pianos have the full factory warrnanty unless they ask and receive proof.
And make sure to bring Wonder Woman's lasso of truth…

But...if Chewie needs parts, it'd be nice to just get online and find a dealership that can provide them. Same holds true if Han Solo wants to trade the Millennium Falcon in for a late model space craft!

Interesting thread about Sauter sightings. Blissfully, I have my own pet Sauter, and I keep it carefully out of sight, although
if someone really insists and ventures onto my premises, he/she could get a rare glimpse of it through a window. I have a suspicion that it might be the only Sauter grand in the UK; none of the technicians nor the movers when they delivered it had ever seen one. I can recommend anyone seriously considering buying a Sauter grand to make a trip to the source, which I had to do in order to try one out before buying. It is what they say with Michelin starred restaurants:
* very good in its category
** excellent, worth the detour
*** exceptional, worth a special journey
and we are in *** territory here.

So does anyone know how many Sauter dealers there are now in the US ? There is one in Portland, one in Seattle, one in Florida (Europianos Naples )
Is there one in San Francisco or what about one in Beethovens in New York ? Are there any others ?

In the meantime, I was thrilled to know that there is a Sauter dealer in Rosario, Argentina. Alas, although in a neighbor country, it is too far away in terms of pricing... almost impossible

Whatever was the case in 2016 , there are quite few Sauter pianos around now with the latest serial numbers.
