They are both working musicians who started running live streams as a way to keep playing during the pandemic. Steve runs an active piano group on FB as well.
I had some hesitancy about Tiffany Poon; something about how she left the music school she was attending and slammed them on the way out. I do not remember the details, but think she was fairly vocal on her exit, and it didn't sit well with me. Am I remembering correctly?
My current favorite is Sangah Noona. She has an amazing personnality. She is currently transitionning from her old "beloved" grand to an SK GRAND ! Youtube Sangah Noona

Not exactly. She was member of Juilliard pre-college program since she was 8. When she moved to NYC, she graduated Columbia with major in Philosophy while also continuing taking classes at Juilliard (Columbia-Juilliard Program). She applied, passed auditions, and was offered admission to Juilliard's MM, but decided she had enough of Juilliard, and wants to try something new, i.e. Yale. I've never heard a bad word from her about Juilliard or her teachers. In fact, she politely explained her reasoning on her Youtube channel.

I am on her Patreon site and she made some remarks about her Yale experience, how she was pressured and criticized to stick to the score, her classmates were ogling at her asking if they were going to be surreptitiously featured on her YT channel, and also the fact that she didnt care much for her rigid experience in school. One video (now deleted) showed an excerpt of her playing for a teacher at Yale and the feedback portion was snipped out..but in her comments Poon admitted she was told there was work still needed on the piece, i think she doesnt handle negative feedback well (she gets offended at mean comments on her YT channel and actually posts about it right afterward).
I cant say i blame her for bolting from Yale, she doesnt seem to want a career as a piano teacher and a degree from Yale Music pretty much confines her to academia should she have not chosen the public performer route. Thing is, the more recent videos of Poon clearly show her technique is slipping..she does very well at self marketing and serving as a role model for younger pianists, but she has a bit of a ways to go in terms of musical development (some interpretations of her pieces are quite shallow IMHO).
I really enjoy listening to Luke Faulkner. I purchased some of his original compositions too, which have helped me stay motivated and improve my sight reading.

The Video went viral and now the UK BBC picked up on it and got the Royal Philamonnic Orchestra to adapt it for full orchestra and this has been made into a charity record
