I mean pieces that were originally written just for him, not adaptations from other works.
Things like Ladi Di, Ballad Pour Adeline, Nostalgy, etc.
I know these are old pieces from the 1980's, but his style is pretty straight-forward and easily identifiable, even in his adaptations.

I actually saw him in concert once, around 1984, at the Wilshire Theater in Los Angeles.

I learned Letter to My Mother years ago. I should go back and look at it again.

Clayderman doesn't write his own pieces though, correct? I believe they are all written by Paul Senneville?

I went back and watched the Clayderman video I did over 3 years ago now and I cringe. I'm going to have to do a new recording, and there are parts that I would play differently now. But I just noticed now that the video has the most views on my channel. I had no idea. I guess people like Clayderman.

That's correct as far as I know. Ballade.. and Mariage are definitely written by Senneville, although I don't know about the others. But AFAIK, Clayderman never wrote any original music.

Re Ballade Pour Adeline... I love it as a piano solo! I think it could also be nice with some strings, but the original recording (with the sort of "atmospheric strings") to me is kind of cheesy. (sorry!!!) It's somehow too polished maybe? Anyway, I find that it can be hard to find a nice recording of it just as solo piano. But that's just my take...

I need to listen to Mariage D'Amour again, I am sure I have the score for it somewhere but I'm not remembering what is it. (Ah, there's a video in the first post here, thanks!)

Ah, right! I recognize that name but don't know if I know any of his pieces. Will google....
