That really made my day Thanks for all you do By the way I have been around 67 years and I saw most the videos that you posted and got the biggest kick of seeing the Three Stooges and some of those movies from the past. By the way I liked the way you articulated [ express (an idea or feeling) fluently and coherently] that piece. THE TOUCH OF YOUR LIPS a romantic ballad written by Ray Noble in 1936

Dave great playing as always and cool video. Really sad to see it was blocked it's just so stupid all the blocking being done by the studios especially when just a few seconds of a film or when they block a music education Youtube for using a song.
Using a few second of a film has a good chance of making some people decided they want to see that fim again and buy or rent it generating revenue. Watching it again they will tell other how much they enjoyed seeing <fill in the blank> again, generating more buying or rentals. Using music to teach music is how it been done since the beginning. Same with all the arts you study the past artists to build your foundation to find you own voice to create with in the future. As you can tell this whole blocking use of music in music education videos ticks me off.
Jumping off my soapbox thanks for the video Dave and look forward to your next one.

Dave, this is gorgeous. With your ear for such exquisitely crafted voicings you are channeling Bill Evans Alone--the gold standard in solo piano jazz ballad composition. And you make it appear to be almost effortless. Everybody should check this one out.
