I'm curious how many people tinker and adjust their sounds with the virtual technician. I think it would be interesting to share your favorite settings? How many people routinely use the KDP110 with an altered sound? I don't hear much mention of it.

There's very little you can adjust on the KDP110.

I have also bought this piano a few weeks ago and had exactly this question. Quick search didn't bring any result. In general it seems not a lot of info available about kdp-110.

I didn't try the app as I don't have iOS device (android only). Though you can do some tweaking with piano itself, but I didn't try it yet.

Supposedly there's like 13 settings?

Yes, when paired with an iPad running the Virtual Technician app, it's possible to adjust the following settings:

Touch Curve
Voicing
Damper Resonance
Key-off Effect
Hammer Delay
Topboard Simulation
Decay Time
Minimum Touch
Stretch Tuning
Temperament
Temperament Key
Half-Pedal Adjust
Soft Pedal Depth

Without the iPad app, it's possible to select the following Virtual Technician "Smart Mode" presets from the instrument's control panel:

Noiseless
Deep Resonance
Light Resonance
Soft
Brilliant
Clean
Strong
Dark
Rich
Classical

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,
James

I'm not aware of any plans, I'm afraid.
