Posting pix to Piano World is a pain. From a desktop or a phone ... it doesn't matter. It's difficult.
So instead I post pictures to imgur.com or imgbb.com. Very easy. And then I insert the link into my Piano World post.

Might be because this site is "Not secure" . . .

Might be because this site is "Not secure" . . .

This site doesn't use HTTPS to encrypt traffic, disclosing your personal data like your email address and your forum password to random bystanders your packets pass by (for example on public Wi-Fi). This used to be the norm two to three decades ago, when the Internet still was a carefully vetted place, but nowadays it's considered insecure due to the circumstances mentioned above:

https://www.blog.google/products/chrome/milestone-chrome-security-marking-http-not-secure/

However browser vendors are going disable posting data at insecure sites altogether at some point in the future and then nobody is going to be able to post at PianoWorld anymore. So the problem is going to solve itself one way or another. wink

There is HTTPS available at www.pianoworld.com, but doesn't work properly on forum.pianoworld.com because of a certificate mismatch.

Very nice, I also have a black 4 legged stool next to mine, for beer, coffee, coffee, and more coffee, etc.

I, too, use a four legged stool to my left and a Mac Pro to my right.
The stool is for the coffee, pencils, etc.. the Mac Pro’s top serves as a stand for music.

Geez, we are all somehow similar and different at the same time. I look forward to emphasizing these similarities henceforth, whilst being more tolerant about our differences. Kumbaya, Namaste!

P.S.

Congrats on that beautiful piano. smile

No problem. I am slowly learning to not discuss politics. Either side won’t budge anyway.

I got the idea from watching a Tiffany Poon YouTube video, she had a stool.

Thank you.

So far I love it. I’ve only been playing four months but still I see a huge difference in my playing.

Somehow it forces me to play with more dynamics.

I think the main difference is going from digital keys to acoustic keys.

It sounds, plays, and looks great.

I am very happy so far.

Once my wife finds out how much I paid, I’m dead meat.

Four month!?! Wow! Did you get a teacher or are you self training?

Regarding wifes - it's usually easier to say "I'm sorry!" than "Is it ok if I...?"

I am taking lessons from a teacher that teaches the RCM program.

What is it about wives? Surely she'd take one look at that beauty and drool just with the thought of polishing it . . .tell her to avoid the keys. She'll be well happy!

My wife used to polish it, too; she would, occasionally, tap 2 of the 88 ever so lightly. I didn’t mind it at all.
