It will open for submissions Oct 1st, and close and go "live" Oct 15.

This is a themed recital, so it takes place in the Themed Recital sub-forum of the ABF.

In other news, the next quarterly recital (#60!) is only two months away! It will open for submissions Nov 1st. Are you ready?

I think I'm actually working on one of those rare pieces now, but could you clarify what makes a piece a Rare Gem? What are the rules for this recital?

Look in the themed recital sub-forum of this forum. You will see a thread for the "Rare Gems" recital where you can pledge to play something and read the rules.

Only one day left to contribute a recording for this recital! At this time tomorrow - 6 AM US Eastern time October 15th - the recital will close to submissions and go "live" for your listening pleasure.

Sam,
On trying to play the audio of Animisha the Ethelbert piece (the first listed) I get the following message:
The requested URL /recital_files/Rare_Gems_Themed_Recital/ was not found on this server.
code is 404 not found
I can however play her YouTube link to her video.
Update: I see that no audio can play but all the ones that have YouTube videos can play. I guess this is because you have not yet released the recital?
Ian

You're ahead of me - still about 25 minutes before I close the recital and start processing submissions - give me about an hour. I will post a recital thread and a discussion thread in the themed recital subforum.
