At least on Safari for Mac the way the recital index wiki is presented has changed a lot.

I suspect that the problem is I am getting the formatting of the recital index as if i was using a browser on my mobile phone.

Glad to see someone noticed... It's not you, it's me.

Yes, I have totally changed the way the recital index works. It is now tied directly to the database for the recitals, which means that it will track every recital with no human intervention required.

I also generated html5 players for every recital, going all the way back to recital #1.

The database does have errors, since it was not designed with any error checks. We are not consistent in the way we enter composer names, titles, or even usernames, but that is human nature. I don't think anyone could have imagined we would make it to 60 quarterly recitals. I was correcting the database for the index by hand after every recital, which got tedious and pushed the index further and further out of sync with the actual recital data. With the new system, the index and the recitals are exactly the same.

That’s a relief - I’ve just installed a new OS (Catalina) and was blaming it for such a different result! I love the Index; thanks for all your hard work, Sam.

Sam,
I looked up the composer John Field and found two performances by Frycek. On clicking on SHOW I get taken to the recital listing and see Music link 'click to play'. Clicking on this for both pieces says 'not found'. What might have happened?

The index is now even better than before. Thanks, Sam!

I'll have to look closer, but here are the two recordings that you are looking for:
Field from Recital 8
Field from Recital 9

These are both from recitals before we started using the recital software...
