I started but found the questions are too vague for me to give yes or no answers.
Sorry

do you believe that a piano student would benefit by a visual aid? Have you ever thought about the fact that the score is a visual aid? do you think a piano teacher would teach with a product like this effectively Which product????
Playing the piano is learning to create, playfully and deeply seriously, our own music in the world. * ... feeling like the pianist on the Titanic ...

Are you talking Synthesia? (In which case, perish the thought). Or keys of different colours (or with coloured lights) or with coloured stickers or letters stuck on? (You cannot be serious). Or teaching videos by good teachers on YouTube? (Can be useful). Or apps of some sort? (Depends on what sort). Or......music scores? (OF COURSE!!)

What is missing for me is background - not found in the profile, nor in the post(s) asking this favour. The best aids are probably created by the teacher him/herself, and often is. Piano comes with two visual aids already: 1. The score 2. The piano, with its very visible pattern within the layout of the keys (2 blacks - 3 blacks - 2 blacks - 3 blacks). "Middle C" need not be marked because that is where the student sits (or at the D) so the student isthe marker, and the rest is proprioception, tactile, and audial.

I'm happy to help, but really need more information:
"do you think a piano teacher would teach with a product like this effectively?" What product is "this"? Simply saying "Visual aid" is too vague.
"what do you think would be a reasonable price for a product that serves as a visual aid for beginner/ novice piano players?" Again, more info is needed. How can anyone suggest a price for something they have no idea about?

I will just repeat here my response to this thread when it came up in the Piano Forum:
Rather vague and bizarre, in my opinion, and it's certainly not a "piano survey;" it's a potential instructional product survey. A visual aid? What sort of visual aid: printed, electronic, app? Don't such "tools" already exist all over the Internet?

I just did my best to answer with what I thought each question meant hahah. I agree they were vague and open to interpretation.

Incidentally, GCSE exams in the UK are taken by school kids aged 15-16.
The OP is a teenager, and this is probably a project that he/she devised (almost certainly with the approval of his/her teacher) for his/her course in (?)computer science. The exams are likely next year, and coursework will be taken into account in the final marks.
But I have a feeling that the OP isn't learning music, and doesn't realise that there are already lots of online stuff and apps etc (both helpful and totally bonkers, not to say pointless) that beginners on piano can already access.........
