Hello all, I recently bought an LX705. I like the key action very much (PHA-50).
I play most of the time with headphones as I have an acoustic too so the DP is for when I can't play the acoustic.
The sound is not very realistic in my opinion, especially in the higher tones. Until now I mostly worked with European grand 1 and set mystage to "lakeside studio" - this is my favorite settings.
However I know that there are lots of options to tweak the sound and it may sound better.

I searched for better tunings and found the suggestion:
piano type: European V1
touch sensitivity: 60
lid: 5
duplex scale: +4
hammer sound: +1
soundboard: 5
brilliance: +4
tone character: C4# character changed to +2 from 0 ( I find the default C4# character to sound bad on speakers )
brilliance: +1
cabinet resonance: 3

So I connected the piano designer app and tried to tweak all this.
My questions:
1. Tone character - the default on my piano is 0 for all keys (although it appears as -5 on the slider). It seems that this is per note tuning. Should I change all keys to +2? or only C#4?
2. When I tried to use this setting it didn't sound good. It had too much "reverb" in my opinion.
3. Is there a way to make the piano wake up on the setting I define without having to connect the app every time to get the desired settings?
4. any other suggestions for tunings will be gladly accepted.

Thanks in advance for your help!

If that is the suggestion I think it is then I also tried it and didn't like it at all. I use the European V1 with the tuning set at 440 not the 442 that it came with. Also I have altered quite a few of the individual note characterisations and also some of the tunings slightly. It is a matter of taste and experimentation.

Hi if you can share what you tried and liked I’ll be glad!
What changes when the tuning is set to 2 hz difference ?
(Can we export and import those settings somehow? so we can share them more easily)

This makes it a little less sharp. But as to the other changes you need to listen to a note and those around it and adjust to your ear - character mainly but perhaps also the tuning. Sharing settings isn't the answer.
