Some great titles posted above, and here's some more of my personal favourites. I was classically trained a million years ago, (A.R.C.T. degree from the U of T's R.C.M.) but over the past 10 months or so I've been having a TON of fun by adding lots of non-classical music to my repertoire. Not sure why I had never thought of playing this type of music over the previous four decades, but I'm sure glad that I gave it a go!

No, I don't plan on ever giving up my Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin and Bach, but playing these types of songs sure makes me feel good!

- Run For The Roses
- Make You Feel My Love
- Till I Gain Control Again
- Father And Son
- Lean On Me
- Carefree Highway
- American Pie
- Have You Ever Seen The Rain
- All By Myself
- Come Monday
- Ob La Di, Ob La Da
- When I'm Sixty-Four
- Sundown
- Sometimes When We Touch
- Remember When
- Brown Eyed Girl
- You Are So Beautiful
- (Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay
- All My Loving
- Bad Day
- Bring It On Home To Me
- Delta Dawn
- Eternal Flame
- Hello
- I Can See Clearly Now
- If You Leave Me Now
- I'll Be There
- Love Of My Life
- Mr. Tambourine Man
- My Life
- She's Always A Woman
- Sometimes When We Touch
- Stand By Me
- Straight From The Heart
- Somebody To Love
- The Air That I Breathe
- The Last Resort
- To Love Somebody
- You're In My Heart
- You're The Inspiration
- You've Got A Friend

I love The Last Resort (among others, but that's a great one for piano and a great suggestion). Thank you so much for this list. How do you play these songs?

Some of the song titles I didn't recognize but I did when I listened and these in particular I would be thrilled to play. There are a lot that I recognized and want to play (e.g. O-bla-di), but these I didn't recognize based on the title.

And this one didn't jump out at me because I glossed over the title. It's one of my all time favorite songs--it has boogie, some melancholy, and lots of swagger. I love that walking bassline. I want to play it! I think it's my fav Billy Joel song, although Innocent Man is a close 2d.

Me and Bobby McGee
Desperado
You'll Be Back (from Hamilton)
Vincent (Starry Starry Night)
Imagine
Southern Cross
The Sounds of Silence/Mrs. Robinson

Some TV themes: M*A*S*H, The Office, Cheers
Morning Has Broken

Nice selection. Heavy on the Beatles, and that suites me fine. I also like the TV themes. I've been toying with the idea of having Linus and Lucy on tap. Desperado is a killer choice too. Nights in White Satin I never listened to (by quirk of fate) but is such a singularly outstanding song. I wonder how it would sound with piano and voice.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Nights in White Satin is a gorgeous song and pretty easy to play. It always impresses.

Have fun!
