Because threads about people getting banned and whether or not people approve of it almost always go south and end badly. And when they end badly it often results in people getting banned. Sometimes permanently banned, not just a time out. You can take this as a hint that topics such as these are frowned upon. P.S. People have tried to circumvent time outs by creating second accounts.
