Has anyone else found this guy on YouTube? A non-playing friend of mine told me about him this morning; the man's deadpan stare and pointing finger cracked me up, his amazing skill is sending me to my practice!

He is awesome - I have been a subscriber for a long time. Sure, its a gimmick (You Gotta Have a Gimmick), but it's amazing how much music he can play without looking, from memory, while staring at the camera.

Yes, I've noticed that!! It's really impressive.

Also, I think his gimmick is hysterical, so I'm all for it. it's just somehow creepy too! laugh

Love that guy! So entertaining. My favorite pianist-comedian after Victor Borge.

I've not seen any Yamaha CFX concert grand listed in the US for $363,000.00.

Based on these brief excerpts, his playing doesn't impress me all that much.

Regards,

He’s based in Brazil. Maybe piano prices there are nuts? Or maybe he’s just pulling the number out of his behind? But I agree, it’s all “just for fun”. Can’t take him seriously, but based on his subscriber numbers, his gimmick works.

He makes fun from what is rather well publicly known than actually from pianistic point of view is. Got bored after few videos.

And prices in Brazil are crazy, especially for pianos.
