Is a Young Chang upright with T00033992 serial number made in China? What is the model:E109 MP?

Hopefully someone else more knowledgeable can chime in, but at least with other brands, you usually can't determine the specific model number from the serial number.

This piano was built in 1999, in the Tianjin factory. This was the cheapest model made there and exported to the USA. They were not very reliable at the time and came to dealers in rough shape. However, a responsible dealer could make them acceptable through thorough preparation.

Rich: That is the information I needed. I became suspect when it was very difficult to get online information. The seller swore up and down it was Korean, it was not. I did not buy it. Thanks again, John
