"Hiroshima marked 75 years since the atomic bombing with a scaled back memorial due to the pandemic. But the situation cast the spotlight on a very special musical instrument, and the man who has made it part of his quest for peace."

"The piano does not speak with words, but its tune can still deliver a message of peace."

Really moving in these times when the post-WWII sense of the horrors we should not repeat is getting lost. Thanks for sharing!

I can’t quit thinking about the people who cried when their pianos left their homes. May this never happen again.

Yesterday I heard that Canada actually supplied the uranium for bomb. The prime minister of Canada at the time apparently said something racially offensive "rather them.........than us whi.....people", so no doubt the decision for dropping the bomb was fear.(that Germany or Japan)would drop the bomb on the US and Canada.(I heard all this information from the CBC radio yesterday)
This was all near the end of a terrible war.Yet considering the innocent civilians it was a terrible decision.

I surely do not.
Even not being involved in the piano tuner's quest for Peace, sharing this story is, on the contrary, a pleasure,

Wonderful. Thank you so much for posting, Man!

(By the way: By sharing this report, you are now involved in the tuner's quest! :-))
