Is clicking normal in clp535/635?

Hello, I recently bought a second hand clp 535 (for many reasons though I know it's not the best out there) and an issue has kind of plagued me.

The lower and upper octaves seem to click, quite pronounced I say, and I had a technician take a look; he said it was totally normal. And even that the piano has been hardly used!

A customer service member I spoke to also reitterated that the action won't sound the same across the octaves—as it is graded.
I mean—bloody heck—clicking wasn't something I would think it would do. Atleast!

Uh, so if impertinent as I may, I would like to enquire whether there are any owners of this model (or atleast GH3x action) in this crowd of Kawai lovers.
It just seems weird for this type of thing to be normal.

Maybe I'm the weird one?

If it were a small "thump", that would be normal. That's the sound you get when the hammer strikes the hammer stop felt.

But you said "click". That's not normal.
But you also said that it happens on whole octave sections of the keyboard. That's weird.

No clicking sound on my CLP-635. It is weird that a full octave has the same problem.
Could it be the felt strip? I remember that on my previous CLP-170 the strip came loose and you would hear a loud CLACK noise because the hammer would hit some plastic part instead of the felt. It would also explain why a larger region has the same issue.

Well I also had a look at the felt strip when the technician came and he said it was in perfect condition.

this is the general difference.
