Mercury (Fazioli F-228) Pro - $99.00 ($149.00) - Kontakt Player
Mercury (Fazioli F-228) Lite - $39.00 ($59.00) - full Kontakt
Tack Piano - $59.00 ($79.00) - Full Kontakt, cool sound for 1930th style (charleston, etc.), has scripted half-pedal.

IMHO, Mercury has very personal (vintage?) sound, not suitable for everybody. Probably affected by ambience of studio a lot. This is not a reference Fazioli.

Can highly recommend the Mercury Pro. It's certainly a "studio-piano" type sound, but it has an overall clarity and sparkle in the treble which not many sampled pianos have.

This may sound crazy, but I am thinking about how cool the Tack Piano might be for, say, Bach, Handel, or Scarlatti - its close mic sounds so harpsichordish!
If only I was good enough to play these pieces!
