Why didn't you have them refinish it in black before accepting it? Obviously you're a serious player or you wouldn't have choosen an Imperial, what gives? Serious musicians overwhelmingly chose black I heard tell. laugh laugh laugh

Sorry, couldn't resist the temptation. What a magnificant stunning looking piano, I am impressed! Congratulations and I'm sure you'll enjoy it both visually and in every aspect of music making.

Wow, it looks su much better in your living room than it did in Cunningham's, without those cats sleeping inside the case. (Just kidding, they were hamsters.)

I am supposed to be working now.

Sorry, RJ, Rich does seem to grab more of the Cunningham headlines here on PW than you. All of the staff at Cunningham were extremely nice to me when I bought my Estonia there (exactly one year ago) including the unsung Jay (who never gets mentioned on Piano World; maybe he didn't even work there and Rich just told some guy off the street to show me the pianos. Anyway the pianos just sell themselves at Cunningham, the sales staff is just there to look pretty.)

Spectacular piano Josh! It is a good thing when a world class instrument ends up in the hands of a skilled pianist. What an inspiring piano to practice on!

I would love to hear it. What are you playing for your recital?

Pete,

Please do yourself a favor - don't drive until you see your eye doctor. wink

Josh,

I really think the piano looks better in your place than in ours. Do you think you have room to display about 300 more?

If there are extra keys, shouldn't the bench be wider?? Afterall, if the keyboard were higher, they would make the bench taller, right? That bench is "upright width". You was robbed.

Amazing piano! Wish I could hear it.

Congratulations, you have found a friend for life! (I'm talking about the piano, although a lot of us friends at Piano World would love to come visit!)

Joe,

I'm sorry you missed this one while it was on the East Coast. You'd have enjoyed it.... BUT if you are ever passing through I.U. country, I am sure you would be a welcome guest!

Congratulations on your STUPENDOUS new piano! I think that's the Imperial I played during my piano search and visit to Cunninghams. How wonderful that IT (is it a boy or girl, do you think?) has found its way to YOU, from all accounts, a very talented player worthy of the instrument!

I loved those black bass keys - they are so low pitched you can hear them beating "flubba-flubba" when you play them!

Many happy years of playing!

Mazer:

You ask: "Can a piano be a boy or a girl?"

Oh, YES, they can! I am not the only one who has suggested such. My piano - is a "girl".

smile
