Just discovered that the piano company Schulze-Pollmann makes a digital piano...? the "ilPiano"

http://www.schulzepollmann.com/?lang=eng&IDC=48

What a fascinating little thing! Strangely there is nothing, and I mean nothing about it on the internet! No youtube videos, and only one article that I could find which only has two sentences about the ilPiano:

https://www.wired.it/economia/business/2014/04/28/pianoforti-italia/?refresh_ce=

And of course it was mentioned on this very site back in 2013, but nothing has come of it since. Apparently it was shown at Musikmesse 2014 and was a bit of a failure...

What even is this thing? Does it really exist anymore? Has anyone seen or played one since? How much does it cost? I need to know!!! :P

Yes, talk about a disaster. This showed up ‘round here back when they ‘released’ it, but then again, it was never released.
I suppose they realized how ugly the thing was and decided to kill it.
Yes, an acoustic action it has, but more to life there is!

This is just like CyberGene's masterpiece!! But in a shell!

So no discussions of pivot lengths, compact/folded actions, heavy/light touch, slipping teflon tape, etc - this is an actual action. Wow, very cool. Probably way outside the price league for many (including me), I am glad it is there. Hook this up to a VST (or Pianoteq for SOME people!!) and it sounds like anything you want.

I am also interested in anyone has seen or played one!

Odd then, that it remains on their website, if it's dead...
