The alternation of tension and relaxation in the melody is OK, but again there is no mention of melodic intonation, which together with the rhythm leads out the melodic line from the area of exercises.

"melodic intonation" is an interesting phrase. I assume it refers to speaking in phrases with open pauses.

What do you mean by melodic intonation? Google only gives me "Melodic Intonation Therapy".

This is not that. The theory of musical (melodic) intonation was first set forth in 1908. in the work of the Russian theoretician B. Yavorsky "The structure of musical speech", and was later developed by the Soviet musicologist Asafev; which, apparently, was the reason for the refusal to accept her in the West. But, as they say: “You need to be able to separate flies from cutlets!” Western theorists in this case have not proved this ability

"Remember that when you talk, there are these pauses, these little empty spaces, make sure you have empty spaces in your music, you wouldn't want to be hanging around anybody that talks incessantly... always believe in space, it's not emptiness...space it out, and piano players have to breathe too..." Nowadays it is easier to influence in this way: "Which of them do you prefer as a model for presenting your story and its effect?"
