They seem to lack the penetrating, soulful yet scientific gaze as described by Liszt. I'm also not so convinced of that side profile (third image). Still, an extremely impressive rendering. It looks about 90 percent accurate. I think there is enough information in the Bisson photo to do this again nearly 100 percent. I hope someone does. Thoughts?

My understanding, for what it's worth, is - the picture on the right was taken when Fred was in advanced stages of TB - it is reputed, I say reputed, to be his last known picture.

The CG image certainly depicts a healthier-looking Chopin than the photo on the right.
