Hi. Does anyone have some time to spare and take a photo of the bottom of the Kawai VPC1? I am about to acquire this piano, and I would like to know whether I can somehow make my P-105 stand work for it.

Thanks!

I know this is not a direct answer to your question, but I’d be more concerned about the weight of the VPC-1 at 65 lbs. vs. 28 lbs. And If you’re using an X type stand now, I think you will find that configuration uncomfortable and not as easily height adjustable as you’d like.

Currently using this stand: https://imgur.com/a/J8zNO9e Maybe the VPC1 is too much for it/just the dimensions don't work out well with this one. Might end up getting one of those K&M stands...

What's to be gained from a picture of the bottom of a keyboard? I'm betting the picture is basically a black rectangle.

Without dimensions it's pretty meaningless, eh?

I can't help but I'd imagine the VPC1 keyboard will sit quite high on that stand.

Hello Ivan,

The Yamaha stand is designed specifically for the P125 and similarly dimensioned Yamaha instruments - I don't believe it is intended as a generic stand for other models, and was almost certainly not designed to accommodate the size and weight of a VPC1.

My recommendation would be to use a K&M 18950.

Kind regards,
James

I have the K&M 18953 for my VPC-1 in Italy and think it is great. The height is quite adjustable and it is one sturdy piece o equipment. If you're in the US you can order direct from Thomann in Germany, but I suggest you opt for Fedex/UPS delivery as the USPS is VERY slow during these times.

Thanks everyone for your replies! I will look into the K&M 18950 and 18953. I read in a different thread that the "Omega" stand is also a nice option.

Consider a Plexio Z stand on Amazon. $60. I have an ES8 on it and very satisfied.
