Question for Rich about Yamaha, which is relevant to the forum:

Do you remember, before the CX series came out, that Yamaha released limited edition versions of the C3 and C6, with some of the upgrades that appear in the CX series but with the original C-series cabinets? I think they also had special edition music desks but I can't remember. These pianos were definitely available in London from Chappell of Bond Street as it was still called then, and maybe from some other dealers. This would have been about a year or so before the whole series of CX series pianos was introduced to the public.

Anyway my question is, what was their model designation? It was C3 and then two letters, or something.
