This makes a lot of sense. Especially if the distributor for that country were renewing their stock after selling through what they had during lockdowns.

Since I am looking for a N1X, I have just checked the price... +300€ on a shop where it was among the cheapest. (7000€ instead of 6800€).
However, the NV10 is sold far less than before (7900€ instead of 8700) which could make people more easily hesitating between both.
Then price could go up and down... their are no laws against it.

The price hasn't increased at all. So you reckon once the situation dies down, they will get a new batch of pianos so may perhaps decrease the prices again? The store has raised their ASKING price. But the PRICE is only determined at the time of sale. It's a matter of mind set. Get your mind right (Luke) ... and you'll get a good price. Europe is not USA

Relative to the euro ... the yen is now 5.5% more expensive than in mid-January, but only 1.8% more expensive compared to last August. Relative to the dollar ... the yen is now 2.9% more expensive than in mid-January, but only 0.7% cheaper compared to last August.
Summary: The euro is falling.
If the yen has risen 5.5% this year, then a 3600 € might rise to 3798 € compared to January. If the yen has risen 1.8% since Aug, then a 3600 € might rise to 3666 € compared to last August.
You decide.

Supply and demand, I would think current events suppress supply and increase demand.
Economics 101 you think massive unemployment increases demand? Sales of music creation tools have increased significantly in the US in the past two months.

One of the resources that the Europena central bank is putting to try to avoid recession is pouring billions and zillions of euros over the economy thus creating and immense bubble of debt and making the value of the euro to fall so prices rise. Wich the federal reserve has also being doing. So it's a global thing and uk can't get rid off it

This was the cheapest quote I was aware of. Bonners was second cheapest at around £3,760. Which is now at £3,868

Seems more an side effect of Bexit to me, because Euro prices of CA99 EP are still slightly falling since first realease (watched thomann.de as Europe biggest dealer): https://m.thomann.de/at/kawai_ca_99_ep.htm?o=0&search=1589776181Galuwen
