This has been such a strange year. Not only because of the lockdown but because of the insane socio-political situation in my country. Everyone here in Brazil, that has at least some empathy and good sense, is worried about the chaos that has been building up. I noticed that this situation is making me less focused in my practice. I still play a lot, but I am practicing less. I think I won't reach 40 pieces this year.

Nevertheless, I will keep sharing my progress here and maybe get some inspiration from the other participants. So many wonderful recordings of pieces that I didn't know. Thank you all for this great community!

5 week to the mid-point and judging by how many pieces ended up taking 2 weeks rather than 1 to learn to a good enough standard to play through in one go whilst sounding pleasing, it's going to be tough to hit 40 by the end of the year.

I see that as a good thing though. Some of the pieces are easy, some have easy parts and a few I've found trip me up in unexpected ways. So there's a nice amount of learning happening

Thank you so much! I also find your list very impressive, it is amazing how you are able to record so many pieces at such a high level. Sometimes I just listen to your SoundCloud recordings on a loop, they are really good!
About my situation, I find solace in the fact that I will be moving to Germany in a few months. I got a PhD scholarship and I would be super excited if it weren't for this difficult situation that we are all facing. But hopefully, we will overcome this soon.
