So, I would have said the 190 would probably be fine in that space, but you now already know that!

You may very well feel like it booms in there. If you do feel it's "boomy" the first thing to do is... wait. See if you get used to, which you very well may. Then f you decide you want to address it, i.e. reduce the boom, you can do a few things. Do you have drapes? If not, consider them. Do you have any soft furniture? If now, consider some plush chairs maybe or a sofa. Is there an area rug? If not, you probably want that for sure.

I usually play on the short, btw, so there's no reason to assume you'll play with only the lid folded back.

My piano does sound a bit different whether it’s on full stick, half stick, or just the fly lid back with music rack up. All 3 lid positions sound wonderful to my very biased ears. My favorite is full stick but most often used is just the fly lid back. Spring is really dusty and windy so it better for the piano to be completely closed when I’m not playing it darn it The Estonia is very easy to play ppp.
