Your diet should help you determine whether you are regular or not! smile

Well, will it make you feel better if I cheated on THAT forum and not this forum? That forum is not piano-related. Actually, I have more than 2 forums. Lol. I get around. grin

I am sure you have posted more than 2000 J&J ?
I am sure they have lost count .........
OK just a joke. I see ShiroKuro is beating me and she joined after me.

That’s a tall order! I protest!

According to that standard, there are only 4 regulars here: DBD, you, BruceD and Mark C. confused

I protest, too, because all we 20000+ posters see in recognition is: "Yikes! 10000 post club member." cry

Cheers!

I agree. I think something like this is more appropriate for those who have reached the pinnacle, the Mount Everest of Piano World:

“Look Ma! 20,000 posts! I’ve finally become a regular!”

In many forums they even have categories so when you reach a certain number you have a new degree like for example if it is a forum about space ships when you register you are a enginering student then after 100 messages you are nasa space program, then at 500 you are space ship engines designer, at 1000 you are assistant pilot, etc

I've just received notice that the first person who reaches 100,000 posts will get a new piano of their choice valued at up to $100,000.

On the Piano World forums, as far as "regulars" go, it seems to me there are not that many, actually. The forum has 10,000 (+ or -) members and I'd say the regular posters are only in the hundreds. Certainly not in the thousands.

Many people join here to ask a piano related question, usually about price, and then maybe a few more posts and you never hear from them again.

But that is just my observation.

As for me, I've enjoyed the Piano World forums over the years, and have learned a lot. I probably don't belong here, and never have. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy it and appreciate it. smile

Not only will it take me a century, my fingers would be too worn out to play a new piano. laugh

96,634 members is the latest count. According to my calculations, around 2% have 200(chosen arbitrarily) or more posts which doesn't necessarily make them a regular if they have been a member for many years or made most of the posts a long time ago.
