Hi everyone,

It's been a super long time since I've posted! I apologize for that - it is partly due to a job change. I have new pianos to play!

As I'm ensconced at home I now have the time to play my own piano. A rare thing.

It hasn't been played very much in the last few dacades, sadly... but it still sounds pretty good!

Now that I'm off the hook from rehearsals I'm indulging in learning some music just for myself. I'm trying to tackle the Rachmaninoff 2nd Sonata, in between hand washings and organizing grocery excursions.

Glancing through the forums I'm happy to see many names I remember.

Hey Whippen -- I see that you've barely posted since when I joined, which was about 200 years ago!
(which is why I don't really know you, and I guess you don't know me either, which makes sense) laugh

.....and Curra, I haven't seen that much of you lately either!

Nice to see you both. smile

Welcome back! You still have waaay more posts per day than I do. Good luck with the Sonata! I find it real drain to work on. Hope you'll consider posting it when you've gotten it.

Thanks Mark, and Deborah. I still read the boards most days, but don't post so much. I *am* practising however! smile

I arrive and a party starts! 🕺

So nice to 'see' all of you again and meet others. I'm looking forward to chatting with you all.

I'm wondering that the Rachmaninoff might have been a bit too ambitious. My homebound neighbors must be going out of their minds! ☺️

OK, let's get back to practicing... 🤓
